Mirror Effect
A highly reflective finish gives the product a luxurious aesthetic. The plating process has been used for thousands of years, and modern technological developments such as chemical vapor deposition (CVD) and physical vapor deposition (PVD) have enabled even plastic materials to achieve a chrome-like appearance. However, CVD raises concerns due to its use of environmentally hazardous substances, as well as its high water and energy requirements. PVD, including vacuum metallizing (VM), is considered more eco-friendly, but it requires a vacuum kiln and batch control, leading to lower productivity.
Our “Mirror Paint” achieves a mirror-like finish using a simple air spray painting process. It does not require water or a vacuum system, making it a more environmentally friendly and productive alternative for adding shine to your product.

Bio-Based
Under the Kyoto Protocol, six main greenhouse gases contribute to global warming, with carbon dioxide (CO2) accounting for 75% of emissions. Traditional paints, made from petroleum-based resins, contribute significantly to CO2 emissions during the refining and polymer synthesis processes.
Our “Bio Paint” addresses this by replacing some petroleum-based resins with biomass-based alternatives. This results in a lower carbon footprint, thanks to the natural photosynthesis process of the raw materials. While our Bio Paint is not biodegradable, it offers a more sustainable option for reducing emissions

Stone Effect
Musashi Paint offers its customers a full range of colours, but believes that different textures add greater value to design. Following the success of soft touch, paper, and ceramic effects, Musashi introduces the stone effect in two colour variants (dark and light). The final effect, both visually and to the touch, mimics the feel of a pebble from a riverbank.
This product is available in a 2K solvent borne line and is applicable directly to various types of plastics.
